From Claymation to Podcast?
Setting here reflecting on how to enhance learning in my classroom, I thought about how much fun our parents had watching their children perform in a video production created for our Parent Night. The project was started as class project in Journalism. Talk about motivating students. If parents could find time to celebrate and enjoy all their children’s accomplishments, teaching would be much different.
How can I now transition my students from claymation activities to podcasting? I am thinking about using iMovie 5 to create their claymation animations as movies and export them to iWeb. That will work. However, I have found a software package called iStopmotion that is much better to use to make claymation movies. It is much easier to use than iMovie. iMovie does not let uses edit the frames in Photoshop like we can in iStopmotion. iStopmotion exports to QuickTime which can be uploaded to iWeb.
